2010 APICS International Conference & Expo

The 2010 APICS International Conference & Expo is being held this week, October 18-20 at the Wynn in Las Vegas, NV.

The General Session on Monday featured LT. General Russel L. Honoré who spoke about leadership in an uncertain time.  On Tuesday, October 19, the General Session speaker is Life is good’s co-founder and chief executive optimist, Bert Jacobs .  The $100 million privately held business based in Boston, Massachusetts, stays close to its roots with an emphasis on simplicity, humor and humility.

The educational sessions are broken down into Seven Learning Paths and are being held concurrently:

Educational sessions will help you optimize supplier collaborations, enhance scenario planning in S&OP, apply hospital operations management best practices to your industry, and more.

5. Lean – Deepen your understanding and learn practical applications for methods and mind-set to build a solid lean operating environment.
